I am an amateur photographer with a passion for the outdoors. I tend to lean towards landscapes, but certainly don't limit the subjects I will photograph.

I enjoy the process of image making from beginning to end. There is a creative and artistic element to every step of the process. I have recently started printing my own images and get a similar satisfaction to seeing the print emerge as I did years ago in the darkroom.

I have moved in and out of photography for years, it has been a part of my life since I was young. There have been times where I have set it aside, and others where I have been very focused. I have also moved through disciplines including working as a photojournalist, taking portraits, and working through landscapes. Just recently I have decided to spend time becoming more acquainted with the natural landscape.

My goal in the end is to create art that I am proud of.
